VITAE in Latin means: LIFE
​
What's in a name? For us, when deciding what to call our little experiment in photography, we wanted to capture the moments in life that are important to people. Videos are great, but photography is more than just a medium or form of artistic expression... photography is a language that communicates feelings, emotions, passion, and most of all love, using visual elements in lieu of words.

Capturing those moments in life, is what we enjoy doing. And we hope to capture moments of your life that you will cherish, display throughout your home, or add to that cherished family album and look back on with fondness for years to come.

We are Annie & Bernard, a happily married couple with a larger family. We enjoy working together and bring both feminine and masculine points of view to any setting.

We use professional grade equipment for professional results.
At VITAE, in all of our photo sessions, we use very high end equipment with very expensive lenses. For Example we have a Leica Q2, Canon 5D Mark 4, Leica Q2, Fujifilm XT2, and our lenses are from high-end Zeiss & Canon, Sigma & Leica lenses.

Many photographers out there will say they are in the game to make a quick dollar, and then bring a $1000- 'Camera & Lens Kit' to a photography session. While, yes it is important to have a good artist/photographer behind the lens, it is just as important to use High Quality equipment to capture that precise detail and dreamy bokeh that you just can't get from cheap equipment.
